Filtr w tym artykule ma za zadanie st\u0142umi\u0107 sygna\u0142y w pa\u015bmie 88-108MHz, czyli stacje radiofoniczne (broadcasting). Zazwyczaj s\u0105 to silne lokalne rozg\u0142o\u015bnie radiowe. Du\u017ca ilo\u015b\u0107 sygna\u0142\u00f3w o wysokich poziomach(blokuje odbiornik) mo\u017ce znacznie utrudnia\u0107 odbi\u00f3r s\u0142abszych stacji nadaj\u0105cych poza tym pasmem.
